Negative Factors Suppress Adipic Acid Prices in China
October 22, news
According to the commodity market analysis system: After the National Day holiday, multiple negative factors continued to exist, and the Chinese adipic acid market continued to decline. On October 1, the average market price of adipic acid was 7,200 CNY/ton. By October 22, the average market price of adipic acid in China had dropped to 7,000 CNY/ton, a decrease of 2.78%.
Bearish pressure continues to push down the adipic acid market in China.
Since the National Day, the prices of raw materials for adipic acid, cyclohexanone, and pure benzene have been weak and declining. Due to weak demand from the terminal market, the transaction volume of adipic acid has decreased, and manufacturers have lowered their factory prices. The price trend of adipic acid has continued to decline. As of October 22, the mainstream quotation in the Shandong region is around 7,000 CNY/ton, while in the Jiangsu region, it is 6,800 CNY/ton. The average price in the Chinese market has fallen to 7,000 CNY/ton, with a decrease of 200 CNY/ton, approaching a 3% price drop.
Adipic acid analysts believe that by the end of October, the rigid demand from terminal industries in China is poor, and the raw material market lacks momentum for price increases. As a result, the future adipic acid market in China is expected to weaken.
