Internet +' medical service projects will be included in the scope of medical insurance payment
On August 30, the National Health Insurance Bureau issued the "Guidance on Improving the Price of "Internet+" Medical Services and Health Insurance Payment Policy" (hereinafter referred to as "the opinion"). The opinions clarify that the price of "Internet+" medical services provided by public medical institutions includes the complete cost of an item and is set by the public medical institution or the provincial medical insurance department in the area where it is located, in accordance with the principle of territoriality. For all walks of life concerned about the issue of health insurance payment, this opinion emphasizes the fairness of online and offline. The opinion points out that the "Internet +" medical services provided by the designated medical institutions, the same content as the offline medical services within the scope of health insurance payment, and the implementation of the corresponding public medical institutions charge prices, after the corresponding filing procedures, into the scope of health insurance payment and payment in accordance with the provisions.
A medical industry source commented to the Daily Economic News reporter that the introduction of "Internet +" medical service prices and health insurance payment policies will become an important part of the new production relationship in the medical field, and will certainly promote telemedicine and Internet diagnosis and treatment into a new mileage of standardized and orderly comprehensive development.
