Support Effective, January Normal Butanol Market Price Increase Exceeds 18% in China

According to the commodity market analysis system, as of January 31, 2025, the reference price for n-butanol in Shandong, China was 6,663 CNY per ton. Compared to January 1 (when the reference price for n-butanol was 5,633 CNY per ton), the price increased by 1,030 CNY per ton, a price increase of 18.28%.
In January, the price of n-butanol in China showed a continuous upward trend, with the momentum for increase becoming even stronger in the latter half of the month.
From the commodity market analysis system, it can be seen that in January 2026, the butanol market in Shandong, China, showed a steady upward trend overall. Multiple positive factors provided support to the market, and the negotiation focus for butanol continued to shift towards higher levels. The most significant price increase occurred between January 25-31, with a weekly price increase of nearly 10%. By January 31, the reference price for butanol in Shandong was around 6,650-6,700 CNY per ton.
