The Health Commission accepted Guan Shanying’s new food raw materials on January 25, 2021. The acceptance number is Wei Shi Xin Shen Zi (2021) No. 0001, and the name at the time of acceptance is "Guan Shan Ying".
Guanshan Sakura is the flower of Cerasus serrulata ‘Sekiyama’ (Cerasus serrulata ‘Sekiyama’) in the Rosaceae plum family. It has a history of many years in Japan, Korea and Taiwan, and is widely eaten as a vegetable or food ingredient. my country began to introduce and plant Guanshan cherry in the 1990s. It is now widely planted in my country and has a history of private consumption in Shandong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other provinces.
According to the “Food Safety Law” and the “Administrative Measures for the Safety Review of New Food Ingredients”, the National Health Commission commissioned an evaluation agency to organize experts to review and pass the safety evaluation materials of Guanshan Sakura in accordance with legal procedures.
The production and use of new food raw materials shall comply with the content of the announcement and the requirements of relevant food safety regulations. In view of the lack of information on the safety of Guanshan Sakura in infants, pregnant women and lactating women, considering the principle of risk prevention, the above-mentioned people are not suitable for consumption, and the labels and instructions should indicate that they are not suitable for people.
The food safety index of this raw material is implemented in accordance with the provisions of other vegetable products in my country's current national food safety standards.

Pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt
On March 8, 2021, the Health Commission accepted the new food raw material information of pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt, and the acceptance number is Wei Shi Xin Shen Zi (2021) No. 0004.
Pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt is based on ethyl 6-amino-5-methoxy-1-hydro-indole-2-carboxylate and dimethyl 2-oxopentanedioate as raw materials, after coupling It is produced by processes such as cyclization reaction, quinoline ring formation, oxidation reaction, ester hydrolysis and purification. Pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt naturally exists in a variety of foods such as MILK, eggs, spinach and so on. The purity of the declared product is ≥98%. Pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt has obtained the US GRAS certification and can be used as a raw material for energy drinks, sports drinks, electrolyte drinks and bottled water and other foods; EU and Canada are used as dietary supplements or natural health foods; Japan is classified in food and medicine Divided into non-drug category. The recommended consumption of this product is ≤20 mg/day (that is, the recommended consumption of pyrroloquinoline quinone disodium salt with a content of 98% is 20 mg/day, and those exceeding this content are converted according to the actual content). Use range and maximum use amount: beverages (40 mg/kg, solid beverages are converted according to the volume of liquid after preparation).
