DOP imports increased and exports decreased in August 2021
Imports: DOP imports in August 2021 were 11,299.458 tons, up 132% from the previous month and 2956% from the previous year. Cumulative imports were 26,689.82 tons, up 90% from the previous year.
DOP imports in August were mainly from Taiwan China and Malaysia, among which Taiwan imported 8,131.39 tons, accounting for 71.96% of the total imports, and Malaysia imported 3045.364 tons, accounting for 26.95% of the total imports.
The import volume in August was mainly in Zhejiang Province, with a quantity of 6697.04 tons, accounting for 59%. From the main import regions, the import price in August was usd 1779.72 / ton, and the translated price was about RMB 13120 / ton. The average price in Ningbo market of Zhejiang Province in China in August was RMB 14,943 / ton, and the lowest price was RMB 14,450 / ton. By September 22, the average price in September was 14,330 CNY/ton, with the low at 13,850 CNY/ton and the high at 14,700 CNY/ton. From the perspective of price difference, the profit margin of Imports in September narrowed.
Compared with August, September price lower, continuously downward market concentration, the downstream user busy season is not flourishing, demand side still has no obvious improvement, combined with the end user has pressure from double the cost, buying more light, the current domestic market spot supply has increased expectations, combined with the downstream buying intention co., LTD., is expected to reduce imports or next month.
In terms of exports: In August 2021, DOP exports were 731.62 tons, decreasing 52% from the previous month and 53% from the same period last year. Cumulative exports were 24,025.709 tons, increasing 163% from the same period last year.
In August, the number of exporting countries and regions decreased to 28, and the export volume decreased significantly and was relatively scattered, among which Syria accounted for 110 tons, accounting for 15.04%, uzbekistan 86.4 tons, accounting for 11.81%, and Vietnam 79.2 tons, accounting for 10.83%. The export volume of the top 15 countries was 643.4 tons, accounting for 87.94%.
