the 3rd 'Colour for Love' Rural Support Award for Chinese College Students

On April 17, the third Libang Rural Support Award for Chinese College Students was successfully held on the campus of Shanghai Jiaotong University. Representatives of the Committee of Shanghai Jiaotong University of the Communist Youth League, Libang China and Zhixing Plan attended the ceremony. During the activity, Libang "Love Colour" team introduced the project of Rural Support Award for Chinese College Students to students of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and conducted interactive questions and answers. In 2019, in response to the call of the 10th and 9th National Congresses for Building a Beautiful China, Libang Rural Supporting Education Award for College Students joined hands once again with the "Know-and-Do Plan" to open public welfare practice platform, encourage college students throughout the country to conduct summer rural support education in rural areas, complete the survey of practical schools and rural architectural heritage, promote the development of remote rural education, and assist in accurately poverty alleviation.
In 2019, the third state-run Rural Support Award for Colouring for Chinese College Students was launched.
The State-run Rural Support Award for Colouring for Chinese College Students was established by Libang China in 2017 and is the core project of the "Promotion Plan of Knowledge and Practice of Chinese College Students in Social Practice" of the Central School Department of the League. In the past two years, with the national strategy of "one belt and one road" and "precision poverty alleviation", 68 universities and colleges have supported 202 teams and 5801 college students. In depth, 31 villages and 164 villages in China have conducted research activities in supporting education and traditional villages.

In response to the call of the Tenth and Ninth National Construction of "Beautiful China", the 2018 Support Award publicly solicited nearly 3,000 universities across the country, covering 33 million college students, and encouraged more college students to go deep into the countryside, carry out assistant teaching and help improve. The status of rural education, complete the survey of traditional Chinese villages and architectural cultural heritage, and provide protection suggestions. Compared with previous years, the 2019 project is more supported by iColor Young Teachers, providing professional training and answering questions and puzzles for various teaching teams. There is further guidance for the summary report after the end of the teaching support. In addition, the project will select local rural schools to further support campus beautification, color art + school painting, art education and so on.
The third state-sponsored "Falling in love with color" Award for Chinese college students in rural areas in 2019 will continue to work hard, calling for more like-minded college students to join, inspiring children's vision for a better future with color, and raising the hope of the future of the motherland with public welfare.
