First international road transport route in the Greater Mekong Subregion

The launching ceremony of the Greater Mekong Subregion International Road Transport (China-Laos-Vietnam) was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province, on the 27th. This marks the first opening of international road transport routes in the Greater Mekong Subregion, which will further facilitate regional transport and promote regional exchanges of goods and personnel.
The responsible person of the Ministry of Transport introduced that the opening of international road transport routes in the Greater Mekong Subregion for the first time is to promote effective docking and deep integration of development strategies among countries, strengthen multilateral transport cooperation among Lancang-Mekong countries, and join hands in building an Asian destiny community. It will open a new chapter of transport cooperation in the Greater Mekong Subregion and promote China-South China. Peninsula economic corridor interconnection has entered a new stage, helping to form a new pattern of economic and social development in the Greater Mekong Subregion. The responsible person of the Ministry of Transport expressed the hope that Yunnan and Guangxi provinces and regions would take this opportunity to deepen exchanges and cooperation with Laos, Vietnam and other neighboring countries and create a better market environment for transport enterprises to "invite in" and "go out".
