Recently, at the construction site of Kairuiying Hydroxyurea Sulfonamide Pharmaceutical Intermediate Industry Chain Project, Tang Qiang, the director of Shandong Kairuiying Materials Technology Co., Ltd., said. Construction of the project started in April this year and went into operation in 2020.

Shandong Kairuiying Material Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was established in March 2018 with a registered capital of 50 million yuan. It was funded by Beijing Kairuiying Science and Technology Co., Ltd. It mainly deals in research and development, technology promotion, technology transfer and project construction of Pharmaceutical Intermediates. Beijing Kairuiying Technology Co., Ltd. is a strategic cooperation platform company for the transfer of scientific and technological achievements in the Department of Chemical Engineering of Tsinghua University. Its shareholders'assets have exceeded 23 billion yuan. In 2018, it was awarded the National High-tech Enterprise and Zhongguancun High-tech Enterprise.

On December 20, last year, the project started and laid the foundation. It is the first cooperation project between Dezhou and Tsinghua University. It is also another green pharmaceutical and chemical project after Leling Pharmaceutical Industrial Park of Qilu Pharmaceutical Company. It mainly produces hydroxylamine hydrochloride and Dimethyl Sulfate, among which hydroxylamine hydrochloride is the main raw material for the synthesis of anticancer drugs and sulfonamides. "For us, building a subsidiary company in Leling is not only a local feeling, but more importantly, it is more suitable for our development." Tang Qiang said that Leling Chemical Industry Park is the most suitable one, but it has been successfully recognized by the first batch of chemical industry parks in Shandong Province. It is the most complete and potential fine chemical industry park in Northwest Shandong. "Our enterprise belongs to the fine chemical industry, mainly making hydroxyurea sulfonamide pharmaceutical intermediates, in the chemical industry park, we can take Qilu Pharmaceutical as the downstream, export products and technology to it."

The total building area of the first phase of the project is 59,000 square meters. Mainly construct 200,000 tons/year dimethyl sulfate plant, 80,000 tons/year nitromethane plant, 50,000 tons/year hydroxylamine hydrochloride plant, 100,000 tons/year potassium sulfate plant, 25,000 tons/year chloromethane plant and supporting public works and auxiliary production facilities. The project has about 700 new equipments (sets). The total investment of the project is 3.3 billion yuan, the first phase investment is 1.9 billion yuan, and the planned investment in 2019 is 800 million yuan. By the end of April, the investment in the project was 85.5 million yuan. After the completion of the project, the annual sales revenue will be 3.06 billion yuan, the profit and tax will be 800 million yuan, and more than 500 new employees will be employed. The project will carry the functions of Beijing Kairuiying Science and Technology Co., Ltd. as a platform for the transfer of scientific and technological achievements of the Chemical Engineering Department of Tsinghua University, and Lead to the construction of leading high-end chemical industry parks at home and abroad.

Not only that, the project adopts the world's first industrial plant for continuous production of hydroxylamine hydrochloride by catalytic method, which is the largest in the world and the leading technology in the world. It belongs to a major innovation demonstration project in the chemical industry. After putting into operation, the market share at home and abroad will exceed 70%. The transformation of scientific and technological achievements of this project is demonstrative and can promote the development and transformation and upgrading of supporting industries. It is estimated that the investment of supporting industries in upstream and downstream areas will exceed 10 billion yuan in five years.
