$36.781 Billion! Drug King Changed! Cosmic Factory, Pfizer is Back!
Pfizer released its 2021 financial report, in which the revenue of Comirnaty, the mRNA new crown vaccine jointly developed by Pfizer and BioNTech, reached a record $36.781 billion, making it the “King of Medicines”.

In the past many years, the old drug king "Humira" has been the global sales champion for 8 consecutive years, with sales of 20.694 billion US dollars in 2021.
Thanks to the sales of the new crown vaccine, Pfizer's 2021 revenue reached a record $81.3 billion! Year-on-year +95%. Based on this size, Pfizer has regained its position as the top 1 global pharmaceutical company.
If the new crown vaccine Comirnaty is excluded, Pfizer's revenue increases by 7%. Comirnaty defeats Humira and occupies the throne of "Drug King".
The high-profile new crown vaccine Comirnaty has total revenue of $36.8 billion. U.S. revenue was $7.8 billion and international revenue was $29 billion.
AbbVie's Humira broke the $20 billion mark, but only hit $20.7 billion. "The Times Create Heroes", "The King of Medicine" was moved to Comirnaty.
In 2022, it is expected to benefit from the new crown of $ 54 billion.
In the financial report, Pfizer provided two fairly heavy expected data: it raised its revenue forecast for the new crown vaccine Comirnaty in 2022, about $32 billion; for the first time, it released a preliminary forecast for the revenue of the new crown oral drug Paxlovid in 2022, about 22 billion Dollar.
That is to say, in 2022, Pfizer's expected revenue from the new crown vaccine and new crown oral drugs alone will reach 54 billion US dollars.
According to the financial report that has been released, Novartis will have revenue of $51.6 billion in 2021.
