　　Selection of bag-free cultivars

　　After long-term research, varieties suitable for bagging-free cultivation were selected in terms of their characteristics and cultivation effects, including Gala, Delicious, Bright Moon, Smoky Rich 3, Smoky Rich 10, Yuan Fu Red, Qin Crisp, Rui Xiang Red, Cold Rich, Smoky Crisp 1, Smoky Crisp 2 and Fu Jiu Red.

　　Optimisation of the ecological environment in bag-free orchards

　　For dwarf anvil apple orchards, it is required that the work zone between rows is 1.50-2.00m, the amount of branches is 30-40,000, the orchard coverage rate is about 60.00%, and the light transmission rate of the canopy is more than 35%; for arboricultural apple orchards, it is required that the work zone between rows is 1.00-1.50m, the amount of branches is 50-60,000, the orchard coverage rate is about 75%, and the light transmission rate of the canopy is more than 25%.

　　Green prevention and control of major pests and diseases in bag-free orchards

　　The main insect pests in bag-free orchards are peach heartworm and pear heartworm, which are mainly prevented and controlled by prediction, sex traps, sex pheromone fascination and precise chemical control methods. The main diseases in the bag-free orchard are Verticillium and Anthracnose, which are mainly prevented and controlled by removing the source of the disease, reducing the infestation, and combining with other diseases, implementing high efficiency and low toxicity agents such as Bordeaux, tebuconazole, pyraclostrobin and thiophanate-methyl.

　　Improve the appearance and quality of bag-free fruit

　　Organic fertiliser + calcium-silica-magnesium mineral fertiliser was applied to the soil and multi-element compound foliar fertiliser was sprayed on the foliage, combined with leaf removal, fruit turning, fruit matting and reflective film laying techniques to effectively improve fruit appearance and quality.
