What is the Cytidine Diphosphate Choline in Food Industry?
Cytidine Diphosphate Choline, is a nucleoside derivative, chemically known as Cytidine Nucleoside Diphosphate Choline, drug alias: Cytidine Diphosphate Choline, CDPC, with its appearance properties are white crystalline powder. It has the following structure,
It is a nucleic acid derivative involved in the biosynthesis of lecithin in the body. As a brain metabolic activator, it can enhance the function of the upward reticular activation system, reduce cerebrovascular resistance, increase cerebral blood flow, improve cerebral blood circulation, promote brain substance metabolism and functional recovery.
It is used to treat the sequelae of the nervous system caused by cranio-cerebral injury or cerebrovascular accident. Citicoline has stronger evidence-based medical evidence than other neuroprotective drugs and is more widely used clinically.
It is a cheaper generic drug, a brain metabolism activator, which can promote brain cell respiration, improve brain function, enhance the function of the upstream reticular activating system, promote awakening, and reduce cerebrovascular resistance.
In the same series, there is also citicoline sodium, also called choline cytidine nucleoside diphosphate monosodium salt, citicoline sodium, citicoline sodium, cytidine diphosphate choline sodium, etc.
Citicoline is mainly used clinically for head trauma and post-brain surgery disorders of consciousness, acute disorders of consciousness in cerebral infarction and acute pancreatitis, to promote the recovery of upper limb function in stroke hemiplegic patients, and also has obvious clinical treatment effects on acute stroke, Parkinson's syndrome, dementia, glaucoma, etc.
Citicoline sodium can be divided into raw materials and finished drugs, among which the upstream raw material of the finished drug of citicoline sodium is its raw materials.
It also finished medicines include citicoline sodium tablets, citicoline sodium injection, citicoline sodium chloride injection, citicoline glucose injection, citicoline sodium for injection, citicoline sodium and inosine for injection, etc.
