Production and Sales in the Food Industry, January-February 2022
First, production
From January to February, the added value of the agri-food processing industry grew by 6.5% year-on-year, the added value of the food manufacturing industry grew by 7.4% year-on-year, and the added value of the wine, beverage and refined tea manufacturing industry grew by 15.4% year-on-year.
Second, the sales situation
From January to February, the cumulative value of retail sales of food and oil and foodstuffs was 310.26 billion yuan, up 7.9% year-on-year;
The cumulative value of retail sales of beverages was 48.09 billion yuan, up 11.4% year-on-year; the cumulative value of retail sales of alcohol and tobacco was 101.12 billion yuan, up 13.6% year-on-year.
