June 28, put forward by Nanning Market Regulatory Bureau, Nanning Ketianshui Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Gansu Joint Inspection Standard Technology Services Co., Ltd., and China Building Decoration Association jointly drafted the Guangxi Local Standard "Hazardous Substances Limit of Major Materials for Interior Decoration and Decoration" Quantity standard expert on-site examination will be held in Nanning. This standard was examined and approved by experts and scholars from Guangxi Housing and Construction Department, Guangxi University, Guangxi Academy of Forestry, Guangxi Forestry Industry Association, Guangxi Construction Engineering Quality and Safety Supervision Station, Guangxi Academy of Environmental Sciences and Guangxi Department of Ecology and Environment, etc. The standard was carefully considered item by item and passed unanimously. Expert Group believes that the standard is a regulation for the limits of harmful substances in main materials of interior decoration and decoration, and provides testing standards and methods. It is of great significance to protect the health of users and promote the healthy development of the interior decoration industry in the autonomous region. It is a concrete measure for Nanning to implement the strategy of green sustainable development in an all-round way and unify the limit standard of harmful substances in the main materials of interior decoration and decoration. The standard is based on in-depth investigation, extensive collection and collation of relevant data, and formulation on the basis of trial verification. The technical route adopted is correct, the content is complete, and it is scientific, applicable and operable. The content of the standard conforms to the relevant national laws and regulations, and is in harmony with the relevant national industry standards. The compilation of the standard meets the requirements of GB/T 1.1-2009.
Standard is expected to be officially promulgated in August this year. Standard formulation will help to build a unified, scientific and efficient limit requirements for harmful substances in interior decoration materials, and guide decoration and building materials enterprises to upgrade production and manufacturing level, improve construction-related requirements, and build a green ecological home ring. It is of great significance to implement the strategy of green sustainable development. It is the first standard for green decoration of hardcover houses in China, filling in the blank of authoritative standards in this field and reaching the leading level in China.
At present, the definition of "hardbound house" in real estate industry is very vague, and the decoration standards are not unified. More importantly, there is a lack of enforceable laws and regulations. Most decoration standards are set by developers themselves. However, no matter which construction method is used, the standard of decoration will inevitably be uneven, which leads to the insufficient protection of consumers'rights and interests. It is reported that some experts pointed out that the introduction of this standard has played an exemplary role in the implementation of the national standard for green decoration, and also provided a safety guarantee for indoor green decoration for the vast number of consumers nationwide. It will effectively solve the problems of opacity, irrationality, non-uniformity and non-environmental protection in the process of indoor decoration and decoration. The Limit Standard of Hazardous Chemicals in Major Interior Decoration Materials is a strict requirement for decoration materials from the perspective of protecting human health and ecological environment. At the same time, as the first domestic "hardbound room" industry green decoration standards, for Guangxi and even for the national hardbound room market normative guidance, access mechanism and environmental protection standards are of great significance. The implementation of the standard will give full play to the supporting role of standardization in the green construction of interior decoration, effectively promote the upgrading and reform of decoration industry, achieve high-quality development of the industry, truly safeguard the real rights and interests of consumers, and let non-toxic household decoration enter millions of households.
