Bright performance, layout R&D POE
According to the 2021 annual report disclosed by Wanhua Chemical, as the most profitable domestic chemical company and the leading company in the global MDI field, Wanhua Chemical's 2021 performance is very bright.
2021, Wanhua Chemical achieved revenue of 145.538 billion yuan, an increase of 98.19% year-on-year; net profit of 24.649 billion yuan, an increase of 145.47% year-on-year; net profit after deducting 24.356 billion yuan, an increase of 155.20%; basic earnings per share of 7.85 yuan, with a proposed cash dividend of 25 yuan per 10 shares (tax included); at the end of 2021, the company's total assets were 190.310 billion yuan, an increase of 42.28% year-on-year.
For the big increase in performance, Wanhua Chemical said, on the one hand, it is because with the gradual recovery of the global economy, the market demand for chemical products has increased;

On the other hand, it is because the global chemical supply chain has fluctuated significantly, and the prices of raw materials and global chemical products have increased simultaneously, and the prices of raw materials such as pure benzene and chemical coal have also increased significantly year-on-year.
In terms of efficiency, Wanhua Chemical's net profit has consistently remained in the tens of billions of yuan scale over the past three years.
Among them, the polyurethane business accounts for more than 40% of its total revenue.
Meanwhile, according to the annual report, it can be seen that the revenue and cost of Wanhua Chemical's polyurethane series products increased compared with the previous year, and this aspect was mainly due to the new capacity of Yantai's 1.1 million tons of MDI technical reform being put on the market, the increase in sales of polyether polyol, and the increase in product and raw material prices.
