Microbial contamination detected in 1 batch of purple rice bread
Among the substandard food products, one batch of purple rice bread was found to be contaminated with microorganisms, namely: the purple rice bread sold by Muping Fengjin Square Store of Yantai Jiayue Supermarket Co.
The total number of bacterial colonies is an indicator of microorganisms, not pathogenic bacteria, and reflects the hygienic condition of the food in the production process.
If the total bacterial count of a food product exceeds the standard, it will destroy the nutritional content of the food and render it useless; it will also accelerate the spoilage of the food and may endanger human health.

The National Food Safety Standard for Pastry and Bread (GB 7099-2015) stipulates that the total number of bacteria in five samples of the same batch of pastry must not exceed 105 CFU/g, and a maximum of two samples are allowed to exceed 104 CFU/g.
The reason for the exceedance of the total number of bacteria in pastry may be that the enterprise has not followed the requirements of It may also be related to the poor sealing of the product packaging or improper storage and transportation conditions.
