Last week, the average comprehensive wholesale price of vegetables in our city was 3.81 yuan per kilogram, up 2.7% annually compared with the previous year. The 18 vegetables under special monitoring were "9 litres, 7 falls and 2 levels". According to the analysis of the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Commerce Bureau, due to the continuous high temperature, a large number of fruits and vegetables enter the mature and picking period, coupled with a large number of local fruit and melons listed on the market, transportation costs, purchase prices and storage costs are reduced, while the demand in the market is increasing, so the price of vegetables has risen steadily, moderately and slightly. Vegetable prices are expected to remain weak in the short term.

Egg prices rose slightly. Last week, the retail price of eggs was 8.59/kg, a slight increase of 1.18% compared with the previous week. Last week, the average retail price of white chicken was 18.22 yuan/kg, which was the same as last week. In July, the supply of eggs was slightly tight, the new supply of eggs did not increase much, and the number of old chickens on the market was generally low, and the supply of eggs was limited. In addition, affected by high temperature weather, the laying rate of laying hens declined in varying degrees, resulting in a slight increase in the price of eggs. Egg prices are expected to continue to improve in the near future. Last week, the retail pork price in our city was 30.55 yuan/kg, a slight increase of 1.06%. Among them, the price of fresh pork fell by 0.15% annually, and the price of lean meat increased by 2.04%. The retail price of grain was 4.9 yuan/kg last week, which was 1.8% lower than that of the previous week. Among them, the price of small packaged rice dropped by 1.7%, the retail price of small packaged flour dropped by 1.88% and that of barreled edible oil rose by 0.06%.
