In 2021, the added value of the primary marine industry will be 456.2 billion yuan, the added value of the secondary industry will be 3,018.8 billion yuan, and the added value of the tertiary industry will be 5,563.5 billion yuan, accounting for 5.0%, 33.4% and 61.6% of the gross marine product respectively.

 

The communique shows that in 2021, the added value of China's major marine industries will be 3.405 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.0% over the previous year. Among them, the output of offshore oil and gas increased by 6.2% and 6.9% respectively over the previous year, and the increase in offshore crude oil accounted for 78.2% of the increase in the national crude oil. The output of sea salt decreased significantly, and the added value for the whole year was 3.4 billion yuan, down 12.2% from the previous year.

 

Data shows that in 2021, with the increase in domestic demand for chemical and other raw material products, the volume and price of marine petrochemical and salt chemical products will rise, and the marine chemical industry will continue to grow. The annual added value was 61.7 billion yuan, an increase of 6.0% over the previous year.
