Under this situation, some PVC enterprises have low start-up rate, and the phenomenon of calcium carbide tightening no longer exists. On the contrary, some PVC enterprises have begun to brew the will to reduce prices. According to my observation, the overall starting rate of domestic calcium carbide is still around 60%. At present, the starting rate of enterprises with upstream and downstream integration in Inner Mongolia is more than 80%. The starting rate of calcium carbide enterprises in Jining is also more than 70%. The starting rate of enterprises without upstream and downstream integration in other areas of Inner Mongolia, such as Wuhai and Ordos, is not high. In Shaanxi Province, only large-scale calcium carbide enterprises maintain production, while small-scale calcium carbide enterprises almost stop production, and the overall starting rate of calcium carbide in this area is maintained at more than 60%; in Gansu Province, the starting rate is still not high, according to statistics, only 4-5 enterprises are in production; in Ningxia, the overall starting rate of calcium carbide is maintained at 6-70%, and the transportation of calcium carbide is maintained at 6-70%. Current price of calcium carbide in main regions: Exit quotation in Wuhai area of Inner Mongolia is 2600-2650 CNY/ton, the quotation is stable. Ningxia area ex-factory quotation 2650-2750 CNY/ton, quotation increased by 50-100 CNY/ton. The ex-factory quotation in Gansu Province ranged from 2700 to 2800 CNY/ton, and the quotation increased by 30 CNY/ton. The ex-factory quotation in Shaanxi is 2550-2650 CNY/ton, and the quotation is stable. Domestic Carbide factory prices generally rose, rising by about 50 yuan per ton.

Calcium carbide arrival price: the arrival price of calcium carbide in North China is 2880-3050 CNY/ton; the arrival price of calcium carbide in Northeast China is 3030-3100 CNY/ton; the arrival price of calcium carbide in Northwest China is 2730-2900 CNY/ton; the arrival price of calcium carbide in Central China is 2980-3100 CNY/ton; and the arrival price of calcium carbide in Southwest China is 3100-3150 CNY/ton.

Overall, the production cost of calcium carbide has been on the rise. Under the influence of the high coal price in recent years, it is reasonable that the electricity price will be raised and the price of blue charcoal will rise. Under the influence of the continuous improvement of current PVC price and the factors of production cost of calcium carbide, there is still some room for calcium carbide to rise in the near future. The ex-factory price is maintained between 2680 and 2800 CNY/ton.
