Brief Situation of Coal Production and Supply from January to July

According to relevant data, the coal output of Coal Enterprises above the national scale in January-July was 2.09 billion tons, an increase of 4.3% over the same period last year, according to the National Development and Reform Commission. At the end of July, 86.94 million tons of coal were stored in key power plants nationwide, which could last 21 days.
In July, the national railway coal transportation volume was 210 million tons, an increase of 6% over the same period of last year. From January to July, 1.42 billion tons of coal were shipped, an increase of 3% over the same period last year.
Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that from January to July 2019, the main business income of the coal mining and washing industry in China reached 1369.1 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6% over the same period of last year; the total profit of the coal mining and washing industry reached 166.9 billion yuan, a decrease of 38% over the same period of last year; and the operating cost of the coal mining and washing industry reached 974.55 billion yuan, an increase of 59% over the same period of last year.
