Anhui Huaplastics to build 120,000 tonnes PBAT/PBS integrated project
Anhui Huaplastics Co Ltd (Huaplastics, 600935) is proposing to build an integrated project with an annual capacity of 120,000 tonnes of PBAT and PBS. The construction site is located in the existing industrial park of Huaplastics in Dingyuan County, Chuzhou City.
On 28 December 2021, Huaplastics announced that it and Huai Minerals, Linlv Coking and Carbon Xin Technology intend to jointly invest in cash to establish Huabei Mining Industry Green Chemical and New Materials Research Institute Co. (hereinafter referred to as the "Research Institute") for the development of new materials, new energy and green chemical technology; research and development and utilization of hydrogen energy, carbon capture and conversion, polymer materials and graphene materials; research and development of products, processes and catalysts in the field of coal chemical industry, chlor-alkali chemical industry and its industrial chain extension.
On December 30, 2021, HPC replied that after the establishment of the new company, as a science and technology research platform, the new materials research involved could include polymer materials, graphene materials, degradable plastics, etc., and the new energy research involved could include hydrogen energy, photovoltaic, etc.
The registered capital of the chemical research institute is 200 million yuan, of which Huai Min shares contribute 80 million yuan, accounting for 40% of the registered capital; Lin Lax Coking contributes 40 million yuan, accounting for 20% of the registered capital;
Carbon Xin Technology contributes 40 million yuan, accounting for 20% of the registered capital; Huaplastic shares contribute 40 million yuan, accounting for 20% of the registered capital.
