Carbide Sampling in Shaanxi Beiyuan Chemical Company will be fully automated

In April, the project of CALCIUM carbide Sampler Technical Reform, which was supervised by acetylene Branch under the leadership of Quality Management Section, has been successfully debugged recently. Now it has fully entered the "manual automatic" sampling link. In January 2017, it can realize the full-automatic operation of Calcium Carbide sampling. At that time, the calcium carbide reservoir will be zero. Inventory is on the horse.
2016, the company made use of many strategic measures such as technological innovation and high-quality production to reduce costs and increase efficiency. In order to reduce waste in production process and cost control of personnel, after many experiments of carbide weathering and demonstration of technical scheme, the company decided in August to complete the technical transformation of the sampling link of carbide to achieve full automation. Four wire stone automatic samplers of 1 million tons have been put into operation smoothly, with four benefits.
Compared with traditional manual and semi-automatic sampling, the automatic sampler integrates crushing, shrinking and sieving. It can directly realize on-line sampling, screening, crushing and sieving of batches of calcium carbide, thus reducing personnel mobility and sampling inaccuracy, and greatly improving the work efficiency of quality management department. For example, manual sampling of a car of calcium carbide at least 3kg takes about an hour. After full automation, only 1kg of calcium carbide is needed to be inspected. The finished sample is produced with the belt running, and the inspector can immediately take it away for analysis.
Benefit II, improved the working environment, and guaranteed the safety of personnel. Fully automatic sampling avoids direct contact between sampling personnel and high temperature calcium carbide, reduces the risk of injury caused by tamping calcium carbide, and reduces the crushing and screening links after manual and semi-automatic sampling. Therefore, we do not need to go to the calcium carbide depot to tamp calcium carbide, only in the duty room to analyze the calculation results.
Benefit three, saving production costs and realizing benefit creation. With fully automatic sampling, the calcium carbide is broken when it is unloaded, realizing "zero stock" of the calcium carbide, avoiding the weathering of the calcium carbide and the pollution of the environment caused by dust. At the same time, the waste after sampling and sieving can be directly returned to the belt through the bucket lifting device, thus reducing the unit consumption of calcium carbide fundamentally. The average weathering rate of calcium carbide is 2.5%. According to the daily average stock of 4000 tons of calcium carbide in the first and second phases, the cost of weathering of calcium carbide is wasted nearly 5 million yuan per month. It can be seen that the "zero inventory" of fully automatic sampling really realizes the purpose of creating company benefits.
