Coal Mine Enterprises Illegally Produce Three Millions of Fines in Sichuan

Concealment of coal mining face; gas drainage in mining face is not up to standard; safety monitoring system can not operate normally. For three consecutive days, the Sichuan Emergency Management Department exposed three coal mining enterprises in Sichuan and issued a fine of more than one million. Since January, at least six coal mines have been fined, and more enterprises have been exposed to dozens of potential safety hazards.

At present, the mine has been ordered to stop production and rectify, temporarily withhold the production safety license and fined 1.803 million yuan according to law.
Another coal mine was fined, Sichuan South Sichuan Coal Industry Co., Ltd. Lubanshan North Coal Mining Face Gas Drainage did not meet the production standards. "We found that the length of 12 sampling boreholes of residual gas content in coal mining face measured by this coal mine is 74m, and the data of coal sample weight and gas desorption amount of boreholes No. 5, No. 8 and No. 12 are identical, and the data are not true." According to the supervisory group of South Sichuan Coal Supervision Bureau of Sichuan Coal Supervision Bureau, the failure of gas extraction to meet the standards is likely to lead to excessive gas emission, excessive gas and accumulation, which will lead to gas explosion and coal and gas outburst accidents. At present, the mine has been ordered to stop production and rectify, temporarily withhold production safety license and fined 1.274 million yuan. On the 18th, Gulin Coal Mine (Western Section) Co., Ltd. was notified and fined 1.119 million yuan. The circular pointed out that the mine safety monitoring system could not operate normally in the above-mentioned coal mines; the ventilation attendants did not review the gas class report; and the mine training files did not record truthfully the situation of safety production education and training and other illegal and illegal acts.
