For the first time in 25 years, new coal mines have been built.

In September 25th, 2019, the first newly built coal mine, Bzie-Debina coal mine since 1994, was officially opened.
Bzie-Debina mine is located in the southern part of the town of Yayse Yisi Bezderui (Jastrzebie Zdroj), built by the JSW JSW. JSW is the largest coking coal producer in Europe. Moravec Ki Morawiecki, prime minister, said that Bzie-Debina coal mine will contribute to the development of the Mateusz industry.
Moravec Ki said the EU had already classified coking coal as a strategic resource. We should have a comprehensive understanding of the economy. Without steel, there would be no modern economy, and without coking coal, there would be no steel. If we want to promote the development of renewable energy and automobile industry, we need high quality steel.
Bzie-Debina Coal Mine is expected to start coking coal mining in 2022 and reach full production in 2025, with final production capacity reaching 2.2 million tons/year. At present, there are 223 employees in the mine. By the end of this year, the number of employees is expected to increase to 300. Within a few years, it will reach the target of 2000 employees.
JSW chief executive Vladimir Chriszyak (Wlodzimierz Herezniak) said that by 2030, the company will invest more than 6.84 billion euros to Bzie-Debina coal mine, of which 2019-2022 years will invest more than 2.05 billion euros.
JSW produces more than 15 million tons of coking coal and hard coal annually. The company plans to increase its output to 18 million tons by 2030 and concentrate on coking coal production.
