Total off balance sheet financing in the first three quarters decreased

The people's Bank of China held a press conference on financial statistics for the third quarter of 2019 on 15th. On the whole, the increment of social financing scale in the first three quarters was 18.74 trillion yuan, 3.28 trillion yuan more than the same period of last year. Ruan Jianhong, director of the Statistics Department of the people's Bank of China, said that from the perspective of structure, the scale of social financing increased more than last year due to four reasons. First, the credit support of finance to the real economy continued to increase. RMB loans to the real economy increased by 13.9 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.1 trillion yuan year on year. Second, corporate debt increased more. The net financing of corporate bonds in the first three quarters was 2.39 trillion yuan, an increase of 695.5 billion yuan year on year. Third, there are more special bonds issued by local governments. The net financing of local government special bonds was 2.17 trillion yuan, an increase of 470.4 billion yuan year on year. Fourth, the decrease of off balance sheet financing is obvious. Entrusted loans decreased by 645.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 513.8 billion yuan; trust loans decreased by 107.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 358.9 billion yuan; undiscounted bank acceptance bills decreased by 522.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 156.2 billion yuan. The total of the three items is 1.03 trillion yuan less than that of the same period last year.
