Sanjiang Chemical plans to build 1 million tons of ethylene

Sanjiang Chemical announced on September 29 that the group is planning to build a project (new project) with an annual output of 1 million tons of ethylene and 1 million tons of ethylene oxide glycol in the new chemical material Park of Jiaxing Port Area, Zhejiang Province, China, around the current production base. It is announced that the upstream part of the planned new project is a 1 million ton / a ethylene production plant, which is planned to use ethane, naphtha and propane as the main inputs. The planned new projects can adjust the input proportion of the three main inputs in the production units of the new projects according to the market price of ethane, naphtha and propane to avoid the market risk of relying on a single raw material and the risk of price fluctuation. The downstream 1 million T / a ethylene oxide / glycol production unit of the new project under planning can adjust the output proportion according to the market price of the output ethylene oxide and glycol to avoid the risk of relying on the price fluctuation of a single output to achieve the goal of maximizing profits. The board of directors is planning to work on bank financing arrangements and related approvals and licenses for new projects.
