At the macro level, clean heating through energy substitution has become the fundamental measure to promote the air quality improvement in the heating season in the northern region. But it needs to be clear that China's energy endowment of "more coal and less gas" determines that clean energy can not be completely replaced.

 

At the same time, the clean utilization of coal needs to continue to make efforts. It is not realistic to completely reverse the energy pattern dominated by coal in the short term. Therefore, based on the transformation of heating energy consumption mode, efforts should also be made in the micro level of heating management mechanism optimization, heating facilities energy-saving transformation, etc. to calculate the high-efficiency heating accounts, and further tap the potential of energy emission reduction in heating season. We should not only ensure that the masses stay warm for the winter, but also maximize heating and energy conservation. On the one hand, it is necessary to explore flexibility and humanity in heating time. Except for some special climate areas, the heating season in most areas of northern China generally lasts from November to March next year. In practice, according to the weather changes in many places, heating in advance is "due to cold", but "due to heat" is ignored. In March every year, the weather has turned warm in many places, and there is almost no "sense of existence" in the heating system. In some central heating areas, there is even a situation of "using the heating system while opening the windows". Such "forced heating" not only wastes energy, increases emission pollution, but also wastes funds and increases heating costs for the masses. Therefore, the heating department needs to further explore and improve the flexible heating mechanism, and adjust the heating time and temperature according to the weather changes. On the other hand, the heating hardware facilities should be refined and energy-saving.

 

At present, many newly-built houses in China have adopted home independent heating on the premise that natural gas, electricity and other energy sources are guaranteed, and some central heating areas have realized accurate heating by installing household metering equipment. Through the independent control of heating area and temperature, the loss of heating heat and inefficient heating can be reduced to a certain extent. In addition, the implementation of ultra-low energy consumption renovation is also one of the effective ways to reduce energy consumption in heating period. In recent years, many provinces and cities have introduced policies to encourage the development of ultra-low energy consumption buildings. It can be predicted that the promotion and use of ultra-low energy consumption buildings will become an important energy-saving way of heating in winter in the north. Heating in winter is a subject of people's livelihood and environmental protection. It seems to be a pair of contradictions to achieve "heating" and "good air". In fact, environmental pressure and heating demand are not antagonistic, but will promote each other. Both of them can promote more clean heating methods, technology exploration and application, but make heating management more optimized and perfect, and promote energy conservation and emission reduction to a broader field.
