Recently, the technology of "CALCIUM carbide slag based industrial synthetic packaging materials" declared by Yili ecological technology company, a subsidiary of Yili Group, has successfully passed the registration of scientific and technological achievements in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, providing a new direction for extending the industrial chain of Yili circular economy and the reuse of Calcium Carbide slag. Carbide slag is a kind of waste slag with Calcium hydroxide as the main component after the hydrolysis of carbide to obtain acetylene gas. If the carbide slag can not be properly treated, it will have a certain impact on the environment. Therefore, how to turn carbide slag into a treasure has always been the goal of many scientists. Since 2016, based on the concept of green development of elion, elion Ecological Technology Co., Ltd. has continued to carry out research and development of "manufacturing industrial packaging materials with carbide slag" in order to explore the problem of resource utilization of carbide slag in elion clean energy Daqi circular economy industrial park. It took more than three years from project initiation to R & D, to production transformation, to application for various patents and appraisal of scientific and technological achievements. During this period, the project team worked overtime to meet the difficulties and overcome many difficulties in the research and development process. Finally, the project was successfully completed in 2018 and passed the acceptance of Ordos science and technology plan project. In 2019, "a kind of modified carbide slag filler for plastics and its preparation method" (201610707299.3), successfully obtained the national invention patent. "A kind of wear-resistant PVC industrial packaging bag" (zl201821448585.3) obtained the national utility model patent. From April to October 2019, the project passed the professional review from three levels of science and technology departments in Dalate Banner, Ordos City and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, laying a solid foundation for the next step of applying for Inner Mongolia Science and technology progress award. The project has passed the registration of scientific and technological achievements of the autonomous region, marking that the project has made progress in stages.
