China first released CIF price index of China's power coal import
On November 9, the coal import and export professional committee of China coal transportation and Marketing Association held the "2019 China import coal summit" during the second China International Import Expo. At the meeting, China Coal Industry Association and China coal transportation and Marketing Association jointly released China import coal price index (CICI) (trial operation), which filled in the gap of lacking comprehensive index system in China's power coal import market. In addition, some coal import and export enterprises signed the coal purchase and sale contract in 2020, with a total contract amount of 82.2 million tons.
