"In the field of high-end adhesives, the global trend is to develop high-quality and sustainable application solutions," said Dr. J ü rgen Pfister, vice president of adhesives and fiber bonding business in EMEA, BASF. Acresin, a UV curable acrylic hot melt adhesive, can meet the high development requirements. As a partner of adhesive industry, our goal is to maintain stable growth in this field of characteristic materials. " Acresin has excellent application characteristics and provides high-performance application characteristics and sustainability advantages. It can be used to manufacture characteristic products of pressure-sensitive adhesive industry, including labels and special tapes used in food, automobile and construction industries. In 2018, BASF conducted an ecological efficiency analysis on the sticky labels of durable goods. The results show that acresin is a more cost-effective and sustainable solution compared with solvent based adhesives. As a UV curable 100% solid acrylic hot melt adhesive, acresin has great advantages in organic compound (VOC) content, low odor and skin sensitization. The product also has high transparency, excellent aging and heat resistance, as well as water and chemical resistance.
