CNPC pipeline bureau signs the general contracting and operation contract
On December 13, the international market development of China Petroleum Pipeline Administration (CNPC) sent a quick report, entering the European market for the first time, and signing the general contracting and operation service contract of Cyprus LNG terminal project. The LNG terminal project in Cyprus will play a huge role in promoting the import, storage and regasification capacity of local liquefied natural gas (LNG), which is conducive to the transformation of Cyprus power supply system from traditional fossil fuel to clean energy. It is of great significance to improve the energy supply structure, reduce environmental pollution and achieve the carbon dioxide emission target on schedule in Cyprus. This is the first time that the pipeline bureau is responsible for EPC Construction and operation of large LNG terminal projects in Europe, which is of great significance for the pipeline bureau to expand regional market. In the bidding process of the project, the International Business Department of the pipeline bureau has set up a European Working Group to conduct in-depth research on technical solutions and extensively seek high-quality resources. After a year of contact and preparation, finally, the Pipeline Bureau won the first place in the competition with high-quality technology, strong strength and complete scheme. At present, the pipeline bureau has begun to mobilize various resources, comprehensively start the preparatory work of the project, and ensure the commencement on schedule.
