On August 11, at the packaging site of Jilin Petrochemical's ethylene-propylene rubber products, bags of new brand products with the words "ethylene-propylene rubber J-0045" were packaged and walked off the production line, ready to be packaged. This is another new product produced by the company after the company successfully developed and produced two grades of ethylene-propylene rubber X-2034 and X-3042 this year, marking a key step in the direction of diversification and differentiation of ethylene-propylene rubber products.


Feng Kexin, deputy director of the ethylene-propylene rubber workshop of Jilin Petrochemical Organic Synthesis Plant, introduced that J-0045 grade products are mainly suitable for color masterbatch, wire and cable insulation materials and other fields. After the products are put on the market, they will meet the differentiated needs of different users, and will further Improve the market share and market competitiveness of Jihua ethylene-propylene rubber products.


It is understood that the J-0045 brand polymerization catalyst system produced for the first time is different from the previous one. The ratio of raw materials and ingredients is much higher than that of the conventional production brand. The reaction control is difficult, and it is easy to cause unstable gas phase volume, unstable compressor load, and changes in polymerization reaction. A series of chain effects such as frequent and long steady-state cycles.


In order to solve the above problems, Jilin Petrochemical technicians cleaned up the flash heat exchanger in advance during the production switching process of the brand by optimizing the index control parameters and adjusting the gas volume to ensure that the indicators such as flash temperature and product volatile content fully meet the standards. Finally, the stable operation of the equipment and the quality of the products are guaranteed.


The trial production took 15 hours from the polymerization feed at 9:00 on August 11 to the smooth output of qualified products. At present, the process parameters of the device are controllable, meet the J-0045 formula standard, and the internal and external quality of the product is up to the standard.
