Methanol Guide: morning analysis of methanol market on January 19
Methanol Guide: Last week, the domestic methanol market as a whole was strong and higher. Some of the downstream centralized replenishment, the inventory pressure of mainland manufacturers is not large, the import volume or the expected reduction, the supply side supports the mentality of the industry, and the spot is significantly higher with the futures. However, the overall replenishment atmosphere of the market was flat in the middle and late of the week. The methanol price was in shock, and the industry turned to wait and see rationally. With the approaching of the Spring Festival holiday day by day, the downstream replenishment operation may gradually slow down, local demand is the main part, and the transportation vehicles are out of service, which also limits the circulation of goods, so the mentality of the operators turns to wait and see. It is expected that methanol market in China will be shaken before the festival.
