Shanghai Petrochemical's Polypropylene Products Obtained EU Market Access Certificate
Recently, Shanghai Petrochemical's polypropylene products completed the REACH registration (chemical registration, evaluation, licensing and restriction) of the European Chemicals Agency, and obtained the EU market access certificate. Since then, Shanghai Petrochemical's polypropylene products can take into account both domestic and foreign markets, expanding product sales channels.
It is predicted that polypropylene production capacity will still be in a stage of rapid growth in the next few years, and the export of polypropylene products will become a new demand growth point. Shanghai Petrochemical has 3 sets of polypropylene plants, which can produce polypropylene homopolymers, random copolymers, impact copolymers and other products, with a production capacity of 400,000 tons per year. In order to further open up the international market, especially the EU market, Shanghai Petrochemical started the REACH registration work on May 27. After more than 70 days of entrusted sample delivery, application materials, registration documents and other procedures, it finally obtained the official registration document and the EU market access certificate.
