Market news: some coking plants in Shanxi plan to increase prices tomorrow
According to the market news, affected by the epidemic situation, except for the normal production of some large state-owned mines, most of the coal mines in Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Shandong and other places delayed the resumption of production to the 16th of the first month, and now most of the coal mines are in the state of shutdown, sales and decommissioning. In addition, the coal storage strength of the coking plants before the festival is not enough, and the coking plants in most areas are experiencing the shortage of raw material inventory. Affected by this, at present, some coking plants in Shanxi have begun to limit production or are preparing to limit production, with the limit of production between 20% and 50%. In addition, the steel plant actively urges goods, and now the supply of coke is tight. Some coking plants in Shanxi plan to increase 100 CNY/ton on February 1.
In addition, according to market news, as of January 30, most of the coal mines in the main production area continued to stop production and have holidays, while a few of them mainly focused on sales inventory and platform guarantee shipment. The resumption dates of coal mines such as Yuyang, Shenmu, zhunqi and Luliang were delayed, and the specific resumption dates were not determined yet. In order to effectively prevent and control the new coronavirus, now Shenmu municipal Party committee, municipal government, Energy Bureau, coal bureau will take back all the coal related enterprises' software for ticket checking and billing, and stop all sales business. In addition, the coal mines in Shenmu area are only allowed to be shipped on the platform by train or sold domestically, but not exported by automobile temporarily.
In addition, affected by the recent epidemic situation, coal transportation is severely restricted, and the power coal inventory of power plants in Shandong Province is generally reduced, and there are several power coal depots in about 15 days. In terms of price, a company in Binzhou, Shandong Province recently raised the receiving price of electric coal for its own power plant by 15-25 CNY/ton; most of the main power plants resumed construction on February 3, and the receiving price of electric coal may be adjusted according to the shipping situation. In the later stage, the thermal power supply of power plants in Shandong is stable. Affected by the extension of holidays, industrial enterprises have not resumed production in a large area, and the industrial power consumption will decline. However, affected by the delayed resumption of production of coal mines in the main production area and limited transportation, it is expected that the receiving price of power coal of power plants in Shandong will rise in the later stage.
