Chuanwei Chemical made breakthrough in the localization of surfactants
Recently, the localization of surfactants used in VAE (emulsion) products of Chuanwei Chemical has made breakthrough progress, and batches of VAE products produced using alternative raw materials have been approved by customers, marking the success of the localization test of surfactants. After the active agent replaces the similar foreign products, it is expected to save more than 1 million yuan in procurement costs in one year, which is a good start for Chuanwei Chemical Company's "100-day attack and create benefits" action.
Surfactant is an important chemical raw material and auxiliary material produced by Sichuan-dimensional chemical company VAE. It has high technical barriers and some varieties have long relied on U.S. imports. Affected by the Sino-U.S. Trade war, it is superimposed on the 60,000-ton / year VAE plant expansion and reconstruction project, and the price rises Risks and pressure to secure supply are huge. In order to ensure safe supply, since 2018, the Sichuan Provincial Material Purchasing Center has searched for domestic alternative resources, organized the company's research and development center, technical quality department, and polyvinyl alcohol operation department to carry out technical exchanges with suppliers, formulated a thorough alternative trial plan, through multiple rounds Laboratory screening, device mini-test and industrialization test achieved breakthrough progress in early 2020. Batch products produced using alternative raw materials were approved by customers, indicating that the localization test of 4 surfactants such as X-100 has been a complete success. This type of raw materials and accessories global integration procurement has created good conditions.
At present, the company is through mass purchases, organizing framework agreements for public bidding, the average cost of procurement has decreased by more than 13%, and the highest single product price has fallen by 24%. It is expected that the purchase cost can be saved by more than 1 million yuan a year.
