What are the commonly used acids for skin care?
Fruit acid
Fruit acids are water-soluble acids, including glycolic acid (20% -75%), Lactic Acid (10% -50%), Malic acid, and citric acid.
It can remove keratin by loosening the connection between keratinocytes, make the skin smooth and firm, at the same time, it can promote the discharge of MELANIN, which can brighten the complexion and improve the dullness. (Commonly used concentration is 5% -30%.)
Mandelic acid
Mandelic acid, also known as mandelic acid, is a type of fruit acid and is lipophilic. It is only because it is different from the common fruit acid, not only has a certain antibacterial ability, but also irritates the pores while unclogging the oil in the pores, which is relatively less irritating. (Commonly used concentration is 6% -18%.)
Salicylic acid
Salicylic acid is derived from willow bark. It is oil-soluble and can penetrate into pores rich in lipids to remove acne accumulated in pores. There is also a two-way regulating effect on the stratum corneum of the skin, so it is more appealing to the oily skin ~ (the usual concentration is 0.5% -2%.)
Azelaic acid
Azelaic acid, also known as rhododendronic acid, is also oil-soluble like salicylic acid. It has an inhibitory effect on "tyrosinase". In addition to alleviating pore clogging, it also has whitening and freckle-removing effects. (The commonly used concentration is 10% -20%.)
