Relapsing fever
Relapsing fever is an acute infectious disease caused by various types of relapsing fever spirochetes. Its clinical features are periodic high fever accompanied by body pain, hepatosplenomegaly and bleeding tendency. Severe cases may have jaundice. Severe cases may have jaundice and bleeding. Fever and rest periods alternate, and the fever and cold come and go, so it is called relapsing fever. According to the different transmission media, it is divided into two categories: louse-borne relapsing fever (epidemic relapsing fever) and tick-borne relapsing fever (endemic relapsing fever).
