Chronic cholecystitis
Chronic cholecystitis refers to chronic inflammatory lesions of the gallbladder, most of which are chronic calculous cholecystitis, accounting for 85% to 95%, and a few are non-calculous cholecystitis, such as typhoid carriers. The disease can be caused by repeated attacks of acute cholecystitis, or it can be chronic. The clinical manifestations are non-specific, and the most common ones are dull pain in the right upper abdomen or pit of the stomach, fullness and discomfort after eating, belching, nausea after eating greasy food, and occasional vomiting. In the elderly, there may be no clinical symptoms, which is called asymptomatic cholecystitis.
