Urethra tuberculosis
Tuberculosis of urethra is rare, mainly occurring in men, and often combined with severe renal tuberculosis or prostate or seminal vesicle tuberculosis. Tuberculosis of urethra can cause urethral stenosis and obstruction, worsening renal tuberculosis and increasing damage. Tuberculosis of urethra is often secondary to severe urogenital tuberculosis and is difficult to treat. If urogenital tuberculosis can be cured and the range of urethral stenosis is small, the prognosis is good.
