Neonatal arrhythmia
Neonatal arrhythmia (also known as neonatal heart rate disorder) refers to an abnormal heart rhythm that is different from the normal heart rhythm due to changes in myocardial autonomy, excitability and conductivity, including abnormalities in frequency, rhythm, heart beat location or the order of cardiac electrical activity. Neonatal arrhythmias are mostly functional and temporary, but they should never be taken lightly. A few serious arrhythmias can cause sudden neonatal death. Therefore, neonatal arrhythmias should be closely observed and actively treated. Clinically, the more common arrhythmias include sinus bradycardia, paroxysmal ventricular tachycardia, atrial and nodal premature contractions, ventricular premature contractions, atrioventricular conduction block, etc.
