This disease is caused by scalp and skull damage due to contact of the head with high temperature, electric shock and chemical substances. The severity of the injury may vary depending on the time, concentration, intensity, location and range of head contact. It is not uncommon in clinical practice, but there are not many reports. Before the application of conservative treatment and the advent of antibiotics, bacterial infection often occurred due to tissue degeneration, necrosis and exudation, leading to worsening of the disease and even life-threatening. In modern times, necrotic tissue resection, wound tension suture, flap transfer and skin grafting, and antibiotic treatment are used at the same time, with good efficacy and still used today. Due to the advancement of microsurgical technology, some people have made new progress by using free greater omentum to anastomose its blood vessels with scalp blood vessels after complete resection of necrotic tissue.
