Brucellosis
Brucellosis, also known as undulant fever, is a zoonotic infectious disease caused by Brucella. Its clinical features include long-term fever, sweating, joint pain, orchitis, hepatosplenomegaly, etc. The pathogen is a Gram-negative short rod, which is divided into Brucella Malta (sheep type), Brucella abortus (cattle type), Brucella suis (pig type) according to biochemical and serological reactions. In addition, there are forest mouse type, sheep epididymis type and dog type. The main types of infection are sheep, cattle and pigs. The pathogenicity is the strongest in sheep, followed by pigs, and the weakest in cattle. The source of infection is sick sheep, cattle and pigs. The pathogen exists in the tissues, urine, milk, birth canal secretions, amniotic fluid, placenta and sheep caps of sick animals. It can be transmitted through contact and can also be transmitted through the digestive and respiratory tracts. The general population is susceptible and can be repeatedly infected or chronic.

Minocycline Hydrochloride
Indication: It is mainly used for rickettsial diseases, mycoplasma pneumonia, lymphogranuloma, chancre, plague, cholera, brucellosis (used in combination with streptomycin), etc. It can also be used for systemic or local infections caused by sensitive strains such as Escherichia coli, aerogenes, Shigella, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella, etc. In addition, it can be used for infections caused by gonococci, syphilis, spirochetes, Listeria, Clostridium difficile, anthrax, actinomycetes, and Fusobacterium. When the patient is not resistant to penicillin, this product (or other tetracyclines) can be considered. This product can also be considered for infections caused by sensitive strains of streptococci. As for Staphylococcus aureus, most strains are resistant to this type of drug. In addition, this product can also be used for the adjuvant treatment of amebiasis. The indications are the same as those of tetracycline. It is mainly used for bacteria resistant to other tetracyclines.

INDICATIONS AND USAGE
To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain effectiveness of doxycycline hyclate tablets and other antibacterial drugs, doxycycline hyclate tablets should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria. When culture and susceptibility information are available, they should be considered in selecting or modifying antibacterial therapy. In the absence of such data, local epidemiology and susceptibility patterns may contribute to the empiric selection of therapy. Doxycycline hyclate tablets are indicated for the treatment of the following infections: Rocky Mountain spotted fever, typhus fever and the typhus group, Q fever, rickettsialpox, and tick fevers caused by Rickettsiae Respiratory tract infections caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae Lymphogranuloma venereum caused by Chlamydia trachomatis Psittacosis (ornithosis) caused by Chlamydophila psittaci Trachoma caused by Chlamydia trachomatis Inclusion conjunctivitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis Uncomplicated urethral, endocervical, or rectal infections in adults caused by Chlamydia trachomatis Nongonococcal urethritis caused by Ureaplasma urealyticum Relapsing fever due to Borrelia recurrentis Doxycycline hyclate tablets are also indicated for the treatment of infections caused by the following gram-negative microorganisms: Chancroid caused by Haemophilus ducreyi Plague due to Yersinia pestis Tularemia due to Francisella tularensis.
