Acute hemorrhagic necrotizing enteritis is an acute enteritis associated with infection with type C Bacillus perfringens. The lesions of this disease are mainly in the small intestine, and the pathological changes are characterized by hemorrhagic necrosis of the intestinal wall. Its main clinical manifestations are abdominal pain, bloody stools, fever, vomiting and abdominal distension.
