The incubation period of condyloma acuminatum is 3 weeks to 8 months, with an average of 3 months. It is more common in sexually active young and middle-aged men and women. The peak age of onset is 20-25 years old. The average course of the disease is 3-5 months for male and female patients. The disease occurs soon after sexual contact, while the average course of the disease for male patients is 12 months, and their sexual contacts may not develop the disease. Most patients are generally asymptomatic. The size and shape of the lesions vary. There may be only a few or many needle-like lesions: large tumor-like objects may grow in the anus and vagina, with a sense of oppression; there is a foul odor; sometimes small condyloma acuminatum may cause pain and discomfort in the vagina, and the patient may have hematuria and difficulty urinating; condyloma acuminatum in the rectum may cause pain and blood in the stool, and large condyloma acuminatum in the rectum may cause a feeling of tenesmus.
