Sodium copper chlorophyllin is a hematopoietic cell complex that may release neutrophils from the bone marrow by increasing the excitability of the sympathetic nerves and with the participation of the liver and kidney gland functions; it may also promote hematopoiesis because its basic structure consists of four pyrrole rings, which is similar to the structure of hemoglobin. In addition, sodium copper chlorophyllin capsules have a liver-protecting effect, which is related to its antioxidant effect and its activation of liver reticuloendothelial cells.
