Telmisartan
Telmisartan is an oral specific non-peptide angiotensin II receptor (AT1 type) antagonist. It selectively binds to the AT1 receptor site with high affinity, persistently antagonizes angiotensin II, and causes a decrease in blood aldosterone levels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Telmisartan does not inhibit human plasma renin, nor does it block ion channels, nor does it inhibit angiotensin converting enzyme (kinase II), nor does it affect the degradation of bradykinin by the enzyme, so there will be no adverse reactions caused by the enhanced effect of bradykinin. For patients with hypertension, telmisartan can reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure without affecting heart rate. No rebound hypertension occurs after discontinuation of telmisartan.

8-Methoxypsoralen
This product is a photosensitizer. Using this product in combination with sun exposure or black light irradiation can increase tyrosinase activity, promote the formation of epidermal melanin, and prompt melanocytes in hair follicles to move to the epidermis, thereby causing pigmentation on the skin. It is used to treat vitiligo. It has anti-epidermal proliferation effects and can inhibit the proliferation of epidermal cells in diseases such as psoriasis, causing skin lesions to subside.

8-Methoxypsoralen
This product (8-MOP) is a derivative of psoralen and a photosensitizer. This drug combined with epidermal cells is easily activated by long-wave ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 320-400nm, forming photoadducts, producing phototoxic reactions, inhibiting epidermal cell DNA synthesis and mitosis, and slowing down the renewal rate of epidermal cells, thereby playing a therapeutic role in psoriasis. As a result of the photosensitivity reaction, the activity of tyrosinase in melanocytes is increased, promoting the formation of melanin; it promotes the movement of melanocytes in hair follicles into the epidermis, thereby causing pigmentation on the skin, and is used to treat vitiligo.
