Cephalexin Granules
The main ingredient of this product is cephalexin, and its chemical name is (6R,7R)-3-methyl-7-[(R)-2-amino-2-phenylacetylamino]-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid monohydrate.

Cephalexin

Cephalexin is a first-generation cephalosporin with an antibacterial spectrum similar to that of cephalothin, but its antibacterial activity is poorer than that of the latter. Except for Enterococcus and methicillin-resistant Staphylococci, most strains of Streptococcus pneumoniae, hemolytic Streptococcus, and Staphylococcus aureus that produces or does not produce penicillinase are sensitive to this product. This product has a good antibacterial effect on Neisseria, but Haemophilus influenzae is less sensitive to this product; this product has a certain antibacterial effect on some Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Salmonella and Shigella. The remaining Enterobacteriaceae, Acinetobacter, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Bacteroides fragilis are resistant to this product. Fusobacterium and Veillonella are generally sensitive to this product, and anaerobic Gram-positive cocci are moderately sensitive to this product. The oral median lethal dose of cephalexin in mice is 2600 mg/kg.

CALCIUM GLUCONATE MONOHYDRATE

Calcium ions are necessary to maintain the normal functions of nerves, muscles and bones; they can promote the calcification of bones and teeth. They also play an important role in maintaining normal heart, kidney, lung and coagulation functions, as well as cell and capillary permeability. In addition, calcium is also involved in regulating the secretion and storage of neurotransmitters and hormones, maintaining the normal excitability of nerves and muscles, as well as the intake and binding of amino acids and the absorption of vitamin B12.

Thiamine chloride

Vitamin B1 forms thiamine pyrophosphate in the body, which is a necessary coenzyme for carbohydrate metabolism and can maintain the normal functions of the heart, nerves and digestive system. Vitamin B1 can inhibit the activity of cholinesterase. When it is deficient, the activity of cholinesterase is enhanced, the hydrolysis of acetylcholine is accelerated, and the conduction of nerve impulses is impaired, affecting the gastrointestinal and myocardial functions.

Vitamin D2

Vitamin D2 promotes the absorption of calcium by the brush border of the small intestinal mucosa and the reabsorption of phosphorus by the renal tubules, increases the concentration of blood calcium and phosphorus, cooperates with parathyroid hormone and calcitonin to promote the release of calcium phosphate from old bones, and maintains and regulates the normal concentration of plasma calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D2 promotes the deposition of calcium in new bone formation sites, deposits citrate in bones, promotes bone calcification and the maturation of osteoblast function and bone-like tissue. After vitamin D2 is ingested, it is catalyzed by the 25-hydroxylase system in the microsomes of liver cells to produce calcidiol (25-OHD3), which is catalyzed by the 1-hydroxylase system in the proximal tubular cells of the kidneys to produce biologically active calcitriol [1-25-(OH)2D3].
