Ceftriaxone Sodium for Injection
The main ingredient of this product is ceftriaxone sodium.
Name Description Content CAS NO. Registered Holders
Cefotaxime sodium

This product is an antibiotic drug. Except for enterococci, methicillin-resistant and penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, it has good antibacterial activity against other Gram-positive cocci. Pneumococci and lytic streptococci are highly sensitive to this product. Diphtheria Corynebacterium, anthrax Bacillus, Listeria and Clostridium are sensitive to this drug. This product has stronger antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis and Klebsiella pneumoniae than cephalothin and cefotaxime, but its antibacterial effect against high-content bacteria is weaker than the latter two. Salmonella typhi and Shigella are sensitive to this drug, while other Enterobacteriaceae, Acinetobacter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Bacteroides fragilis are resistant. Neisseria is quite sensitive to this product, while influenza bacilli are only moderately sensitive.

Cefixime

This product is an oral third-generation cephalosporin with a broad antibacterial spectrum. It has antibacterial activity against some Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, especially against Streptococcus (except Enterococcus) and Pneumococcus among Gram-positive bacteria, and gonococci, Branhamella, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Serratia, Proteus, and influenza bacilli among Gram-negative bacteria. Its mechanism of action is to prevent the synthesis of bacterial cell walls. Its action point varies with the type of bacteria. It has a high affinity with PBP1 (1a, 1b, 1c) and PBP3 among penicillin-binding proteins (PBP). This product has strong stability against β-lactamases produced by various bacteria.
