Function and Efficacy
Pharmacological effects: Animal test results show that this product can reduce secondary paw swelling and systemic secondary lesions in rats with adjuvant arthritis, inhibit rat paw swelling (acute), agar-induced rat granuloma (subacute) and 5-HT-induced increase in rat skin permeability; it can reduce the urine protein content of rabbits with membranous glomerulonephritis model induced by C-BSA (cationized bovine serum albumin) and alleviate glomerular lesions.

Appearance
This product is a film-coated tablet, which appears white or off-white after removing the coating; it tastes bitter.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration. For patients with wind-cold-dampness arthralgia: 1-2 tablets each time, twice a day, 2 months as a course of treatment; for patients with chronic nephritis (mainly common type): 2 tablets each time, twice a day, 3 months as a course of treatment.
Adverse Reactions
Skin flushing, burning, itching, and rash; occasional gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, headache, and sweating; a small number of patients develop leukopenia and thrombocytopenia; rare drowsiness.
Precautions
It is not recommended for pregnant or lactating women. It is contraindicated for those with a history of asthma or allergy to sinomenine.
