Function and Efficacy

Animal experiments have shown that this product can reduce the increase of serum AST and ALT in the animal acute liver injury model caused by TAA (thioacetamide) and CC14 (carbon tetrachloride), and inhibit the accumulation of triglycerides caused by chronic liver injury model; it can promote liver glycogen synthesis, inhibit the increase of cholesterol, and help the recovery of serum albumin/globulin ratio.

Appearance

This product is a white loose mass.

Indication

1. Used to improve liver function of various acute and chronic hepatitis. 2. Used to treat fatty liver, alcoholic liver, drug-induced liver damage and detoxify heavy metals. 3. Used to reduce the adverse reactions of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and prevent peripheral leukopenia caused by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. 4. Used for early senile cataracts and vitreous opacities.

Usage and Dosage

Intravenous drip, 2 vials at a time, once for 4 consecutive weeks. Preparation method: Before use, dissolve each vial of tiopronin injection (100mg/vial) with 2ml of 5% sodium bicarbonate (pH=7.5~8.5) solution provided in the package. Then expand the volume to 5~10% glucose solution or 250~500ml of normal saline, and drip intravenously as usual.

Adverse Reactions

1 Allergic reaction: rash, itchy skin, flushed face. 2 Digestive system: nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, loss of appetite and other gastrointestinal reactions, rare taste abnormalities.

Precautions

Patients who have experienced allergic reaction or severe adverse reaction to tiopronin are contraindicated.

Special Population Medication

Precautions for children: Children are prohibited. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant and lactating women are prohibited.

Drug Interactions

Do not use in combination with drugs that have oxidizing effects.

Storage

Keep in a dark and airtight place in a cool place. Valid for 24 months.
